The freshmen of PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research for the year 2021 were officially welcomed and inducted into the institution on Wednesday in a formal event that was held in the college’s auditorium. The parents of the students also took part in this program.
Dean of the institute Dr.S.Ramalingam welcomed and appreciated the 250 first year students, for successfully cracking the NEET-2020 amidst such challenging times. He lauded their determination to cruise over fear, hurdles and uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
Highlighting the eminence and legacy of PSG & Sons’ Charities, and its legacy to them, he called upon each one of them to make good use of the college, its facilities and experienced faculty to excel in their medical aspirations, and live up to the high standards of this prestigious institution.
Dr.R.Nagashree, Head, Dept. of Physiology, PSG IMSR administered the sacred oath of Hipprocrates, and the students took the vow. The faculty of several departments of PSG IMSR took part in this program.
