Round Table India’s RTI Week was inaugurated in North Coimbatore on Sunday along with the RTI clock tower day. This occasion is celebrated every year to commemorate RTI Week.
Tr. Pradeep Rajappa, Tr. Vidhyadharan, Tr. Vishnu (Area headboard members), Tr. Anil and Tr. Aditya,Tr. Karan ( RTI week Convenor’s), Chairmen of the 8 tables of Coimbatore and other Area board members took part in the inaugural.
According to the press release from Round Table of India, as a part of RTI Week 500 plus limbs worth Rs.20, 00,000 shall be distributed to the beneficiaries at the ALC. Covid relief material worth 4.5 Lacs will be distributed by various tables across different cities in Area 7 during the RTI Week Freedom through Education – construction of class rooms Inauguration of 2 classroom blocks at Thimmanpalayam worth Rs. 15 lakhs has been planned.
Blood donation camp, Go green- tree planting, The RTI week drawing competitions would be held in orphanages and child shelters across all districts. RTI Week involves 7 days of non-stop community service projects across the country will take place, with each day dedicated to a particular cause.
