In connection with World Radiation Day, the Department of Radiography at Karpagam Hospital, Covai announced that it will be providing special offers on this day to those who are in need of CT and MRI Scan support.
World Radiography Day is celebrated on 8 November each year. The date marks the anniversary of the discovery of x-radiation (X-Ray) by Wilhelm Roentgen in 1895.
This day also acknowledges the vital contribution of radiographers and radiography to modern healthcare, and as an opportunity to increase public awareness of diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy.
