FICCI Ladies Organization is an All India Forum for women, having its head quarters in New Delhi with 17 Chapters spread across the length and breadth of India. The Annual Session and Change of Guard ceremony of FLO Coimbatore Chapter took place, on Monday 11th May 2020.
In a first of it’s kind virtual session adhering to norms that have been placed due to the Global Covid 19 pandemic was facilitated by FICCI FLO Head Office, Delhi.
The virtual session was attended by the Presidium, Past Presidents Council, General Body Members and pan India Flo members. Ms. Preethika Balaji, takes up office as the Chairperson for the year 2020-21. She is a Director in Appscomp Widgets Private Limited that is involved in software development and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO).
Preethika has been associated with the FLO Coimbatore Chapter for the past 4 years of which she has been an Executive Committee member for the past 3 years.
Preethika introduced her new office bearers and revealed her theme for the year ‘ARISE’ – ACT to REACH INNOVATION to SUSTAIN and EMPOWER in keeping with current situation. It was well received by the members. She and her committee aim to continue to impact , change, empopwer and enrich lives of women across all sections of the society.
The new dynamic team for 2020 – 2021 was announced, as follows: Chairperson – Preethika Balaji, Senior Vice Chairperson – RitishaNivedha, Vice Chairperson – Dharma Subramanian, Secretary – Chithra Ravi, Joint Secretary – Sangeeta Chetan, Treasurer – Suguna Ravichandran, Immediate Past Chair – Poonam Bafna, Executive Committee : Lakshmi Ramachandran & Jayanthi Manohar.
