NMCT partners with Royal Enfield to provide Food relief in Covai

Native Medicare Charitable Trust has partnered with corporates to undertake their programs/activities under Corporate Social Responsibility that focuses on education and health. Royal Enfield came forward to extend support to 4500 families in 4 districts through NMCT.

NMCT has taken an immediate action by assessing the vulnerable and deprived community in Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and Salem districts where it already has been working through various projects. Based on the interaction with the beneficiaries, the team has identified the potential area to implement the Distribution of Grocery Aid Kits. The team interacted with the local Panchayat representatives, local NGO’s and Government officials and finalized the beneficiaries.

NMCT tapped its credibility with its funding partners to address these two issues and submitted project proposals. Due support and orders from the District administration for the distribution was obtained through repeated advocacy. K.Rajamani, IAS, District Collector – Coimbatore inaugurated the distribution program on Monday to the beneficiaries.

NMCT implemented the distribution program in Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and Salem districts of Tamil Nadu by distributing 6750 Grocery Aid Kits to the beneficiaries in time with the guidance of A.S.Sankaranarayanan, Managing Trustee-NMCT.
