HCL Technologies spearheaded by one of India’s influential Industrialists Shiv Nader has come forward to freely provide 500 ventilators to the Govt of Tamil Nadu to reinforce its fight against Covid-19.
The ventilators are worth Rs. 37.5 crore, a press release from TN Govt said. Chief Minister of the State Edapaddi K. Palaniswami thanked HCL on behalf of the people of Tamil Nadu.
Covid-19, in certain cases create breathing difficulties and ventilators would lighten the burden and keep the body running properly. Though they are costly, it is a needed-equipment. Research is going on across the country for coming up with cost-effective/affordable ventilators.
