Busy Coimbatore takes a break

Raja Street known for its crowd-pulling shops offering variety of products of all ranges could now been seen with the shutters pulled down. Most of the shops remain closed while some have opened up for business.

This is a part of the precautionary measures that the government of Tamil Nadu has taken to control the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) from affecting the citizens of the State.

Theaters, Malls and other recreational facilities remain closed in the city and only on March 31 can we expect them to reopen. Here are some of the Coimbatore Shops, Theaters and Malls that are closed.

As per Government’s order all the State-run liquor shops (commonly called as TASMAC) are also closed.
