KMCH Nursing College hosts 28th State SNA Biennial Conference

The Trained Nurses’ Association of India (Tamil Nadu Branch) and KMCH College of Nursing organized the 28th State SNA Biennial Conference on 26.9.2019. The conference is a three day event that concludes on 28.9.2019.

Dr.S.Ani Grace Kalaimathi, Registrar, Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai inaugurated the conference. Dr.Arun N.Palaniswami, Trustee, Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust, Coimbatore was the Guest of Honor. Dr.Jeyaseelan M.Devadasan, President, The Trained Nurses’ Association of India, Tamil Nadu Branch presided over the event.

The Chief Guest in her address emphasized that the life of a nurse is meant to be a dedicated one. Dr.Jayaseelan  in his presidential address conveyed that every year, 15,000 nurses graduate from Tamil Nadu and render their service which deserves everyone’s respect and praises.

Evelyn P.Kannan, Secretary- General, The Trained Nurses’ Association of India said that only when the nurses unite their mind, body and skill they can be successful.

Dr.Arun N Palaniswami  in his speech stressed that nurses can attain heights in their profession when they exhibit love towards. More than 2000 nursing students from 63 Nursing Colleges participated.  More than 2 dozen sport events for men and women are being conducted as a part of this conference from 26.9.2019 to 27.9.2019.

The valedictory of this conference will be held on 28.9.2019. It has been mentioned that Dr.Thavamani D.Palaniswami, Managing Trustee, Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust will participate as the Chief Guest and Dr. Jaeny Kemp, VP, South Region; The Trained Nurses’ Association of India will deliver the valedictory address.
