State owned UCO Bank organized a campaign for generation of ideas and consultation branch level at Coimbatore on 17th and 18th August, 2019 as per the directions issued by Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India.
The primary objective of the meeting was to align banking with national priorities, stimulating ideas and inculcating a sense of involvement among bankers down to the branch level. R.J.Shankara, Deputy General manager (Under Audit & Inspection, UCO Bank, Head Office, Kolkata) and C.A.Nagarathna, Deputy General Manager & Zonal Head of the Bank graced the event which is the 1st stage of the three stage consultative process as communicated by DFS.
All 60 Branch Heads under Coimbatore zone participated in the consultative bankers’ meet. In depth discussions on eight thematic topics as directed by DFS has been carried out in the 1st stage consultative process and ideas/ suggestions gathered will be compiled for state and bank level. The stage 2 i.e. the SLBC/State level will take place from 22nd to 23rd August, 2019 and the final stage (Stage 3) will be held for two days at national level.
