Department of B.Com (CS & IT) of VLB Janakiammal College of Arts & Science conducted a Guest lecture – Awareness on Professional Courses on 23.07.2019 at the Conference Hall.
Dr. K. Shunmugasundaram, Principal, VLB JCAS delivered the Presidential Address. He highlighted that these course would provide the students a complete understanding of the overall functioning of industries and businesses. He further advised the students to make use of the resources the college has to improve in the respective fields like secretarial practices, company laws etc.
The Chief Guest S. Palanikumar, Practicing Company Secretary, ICSI Coimbatore Chapter, briefed the importance and benefits of selecting the Professional Courses, which would train them in areas of administrative support, business development etc.
He stressed the importance of Time Management, and created awareness on various professional courses that would enhance their career. He further motivated the students by citing examples of great achievers who became great through their smart execution of their ideas. He advised the students to think out of the box and be in touch with the recent trends to reach great heights in future.
