60 paintings speak life & culture at Kasthuri Sreenivasan

Kasturi Sreenivasan Art Gallery and Textile Museum is hosting ‘Kanavu’- a group painting exhibition cum sale curated by artist Malini Menon. The expo is from 3rd July to 7th July.

Six Indian artists from Karnataka and Kerala namely T.Kamala Menon ,Shaju Neravath,Malini Menon, Sumesh , K Shanmugan ,Kayalvizhi Sethukarasu and Binesh Augustine are displaying their artwork. The exhibition was inaugurated by writer and orator Dr.S.Gurugnanambiga at 5pm on 3rd July.

Around sixty paintings depicting the emotions of daily life,culture and nature have been portrayed. Kamala’s paintings depict nature and focus more on the life and culture of Rajashthan as well as Kerala and Shaju’s paintings portray his positive attitude towards life in abstract form. Malini’s paintings explore the beauty of nature around us and Sumesh’s paintings are of contemporary style showing the realities of life.

Kayal’s paintings adore the nature and nativity of village through her style with textures. Binesh’s artwork explores different moods and emotions and he uses all mediums. The organizers extend their welcome to all to view the paintings.
