PSG IM & Hull University, UK launch Executive MBA Program

PSG Institute of Management (PSG IM) and University of Hull, UK have jointly announced the Executive MBA program for people who are working as executives in the industry sector.  L.Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG &Sons’ Charities and on behalf of Hull University, Lynne Barrow, Associate Dean, Faculty of Law and Politics and  Dr. Nicholas Snowden, MBA Academic Director presided over the launch of the program.

Dr.T.G.Vijaya, Director (i/c), PSG IM conveyed that the program will be conducted during weekends. The participants of the program would be taught by the faculty from Hull Univ who would come to Coimbatore in different time duration set by the institutions. PSG Faculties will provide additional guidance and continue the way in which the Hull Univ faculties teach. Every 9 months there will be an intake of participants. The program is for 18 months and every 9 months there will be an intake of new candidates.

The participants of the program can access the myriad valuable journals and educational resources of the institutions and will be the fellow of both PSG and Hull Univ., and eventually be the alumni of both.

The program is accredited by AMBA (Association of MBA) an highest level of International Accreditation. What is unique about this program is that, even if an aspiring candidate has not obtained an Under Graduation degree, if he/she has credible work experience, leadership quality and have undertaken challenging projects and devised strategies, it would be considered as equivalent to a UG degree.

Nicholas Snowden said that the program would be application based and they would not go for wholesome theory based classes. He also conveyed the total number of candidates in a batch would be 25.
