The Alumni Association of PSG College of Technology and the committee of hosts jointly organized a farewell to honor Dr.R.Rudramoorthy, Principal, PSG Tech for the great many years of service he has rendered to PSG Tech.
Nandakumar, President, PSG Tech Alumni Association welcomed the gathering and while talking about Dr. Rudramoorthy, pointed out that his role in the contribution of PSG Tech Alumni Congress was phenomenal. He stated that how the Alumni Association, under the guidance of Dr.Rudramoorthy became well organized.
P.Radhakrishnan, Director, PSG Institute of Advanced Studies while felicitating happily stated that next to Professor GRD, the Founding Father of PSG Tech, Rudramoorthy is the longest serving Principal. He appreciated the contributions Rudramoorthy made in the development of academics, infrastructure and grants. He wished that Rudramoorthy extends his role in PSG.
A.V.Varadharajan, Chairman, Sandfits Foundaries who is also one of the Past President of PSG Tech’s Alumni Association while congratulating Rudramoorthy, pointed out his positive and patient nature. “You have served this institution greatly sir and your services cannot be forgotten”
Iakako Subramaniam, President, Nanneri Kalagam in his felicitation mentioned the affable nature and said that he is a star in Academics, Administration and also in the role of shaping the Alumni Association.
Mohanram, Principal PSG iTech narrated how phenomenally supportive Rudramoorthy was to him in establishing PSG iTech: in terms of Faculty recruitment, Lab Support and Academic/Governance of the college. He praised him as the man who doesn’t take vacation and remains in the college even on Sundays because of the love for vocation.
The host committee then honored Rudramoorthy with a Shawl and memento.
Accepting the honor, Rudramoorthy said “I have done my duty. I put PSG Tech first and I was focused on limiting its constraints to progress. I must thank my forerunners for the good systems that enabled me to take it to good heights. And I must personally thank you all for the support you have given me. I love PSG concept of charity and I thought I must too share what I have, and I shared my knowledge and skills.”
