Dr. N.G. P. Arts and Science College (Autonomous) conducted College Day and Sports Day for the academic year 2018-2019 at conference centre in the college premises recently. Geetharamani, Dean Academics, congenially welcomed the gathering.
Rajendran, Principal,of the College delivered the annual report while A. Thanasingh, Head, Department of Physical Education outlined the sports report.
Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman and Managing Director KMCRET, presided over the function. He advised students to work diligently and do smart work with wisdom. He expressed his joy in seeing the students of Dr. N.G. P. Arts and Science College getting placed in companies like TCS, Infosys & many others.
Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary of the college addressed the gathering and counseled the students to improve their behavioral pattern to meet up the needs in the technical world that helps them compete on par with the competitive surroundings by taking up the right decision with freedom.
The Chief Guest, J. Sujith Kumar, Founder and Managing Trustee- Maatram Foundation Associate Vice President- HR – Infosys, Chennai, felicitated the function and addressed the gathering and in his speech shared his experience about dreaming big in life and how dreams revolutionize life from normal level to the pinnacle with Dr. Abdul Kalam’s words “Dream is not that which you see while sleeping it is something that does not let you sleep.”
