Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences, situated on Palakkad Road, Coimbatore held its 12th Graduation Ceremony. The function was attended by large number of graduates and their parents.
P.Krishnakumar, The CEO & Secretary of Nehru Group of Institutions presided over the function.
In his presidential address, P. Krishnakumar spoke about the contributions made by the management of Nehru Group of Institutions towards education and other corporate social responsibility activities done by the management ever since its foundation by Sri. P. K. Das the founder Chairman, fifty years ago.
The Chief Guest of the function N. Rajendran Vice Chancellor of Alagappa University presented Degree certificates to about 150 graduates and exhorted them to adopt honesty, integrity and faithfulness to society and gratitude to teachers, parents and friends who stood behind their efforts to achieve their aim of becoming graduates.
He also advised the young graduates to use their education to innovate new ideas rather than relying on what is available in existing sources of information. The Vice Chancellor also praised the management of the college for maintaining good infrastructure and qualified teaching faculty in the college.
Earlier P. R. Balaji, Principal of the College welcomed the gathering. Professors P. Muthuswamy and R. Singaravadivelu felicitated the graduates.
