Extra smile added to the “smile school support project”

The Rotary Coimbatore Infra, in collaboration with VSI Crushers Pvt Ltd, proudly inaugurated the Harmony Hall at Government High School Pachapalayam, Madukarai. This significant milestone was achieved as part of the Smile School Support Project, aimed at enhancing educational facilities and promoting a conducive learning environment for the students.

The Harmony Hall, a 40’x20’ spacious facility, stands as a testament to the commitment of Rotary Coimbatore Infra and VSI Crushers Pvt Ltd towards empowering educational institutions. The hall is equipped with 10 dining tables, fostering a space for students to gather, share meals, and build bonds that go beyond the classroom.

A noteworthy contribution to the school’s intellectual growth comes in the form of a library stocked with books worth ₹15,000, providing students with a valuable resource to expand their knowledge and curiosity. In addition, the project also included a tree plantation initiative, symbolizing the commitment to environmental sustainability and the growth of a greener future, with 100 trees being planted on the school premises.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished personalities, including Rtn Justin Premkumar, Assistant Governor, who not only participated actively but also had the honor of opening the wall stone. The leadership team of Rotary Coimbatore Infra, comprising Rtn Kamaraj as President, Rtn Nawazudeen as Secretary, and Rtn Prabhukannan as Project Chair, played pivotal roles in the success of the Smile School Support Project.

The momentous occasion reached its pinnacle when Sasipriya Appu, the esteemed Chief Guest and Nachipalayam Panchayat President, cut the ribbon for the Harmony Hall, symbolizing the commencement of a new chapter in the educational journey of Government High School Pachapalayam, Madukarai. This collaborative effort stands as a beacon of hope, highlighting the transformative power of community engagement and the dedication to nurturing the future generations.
