KV Institute of Management and Information Studies (KVIMIS) witnessed a vibrant and culturally rich celebration of Pongal on January 12, 2024. The event, held on the institute’s campus, brought together students, faculty, and staff to partake in the joyous festivities associated with the traditional Tamil harvest festival.
The celebration commenced with an inaugural ceremony, graced by dignitaries, including the institute’s leadership and distinguished guests. The cultural program showcased the diverse talents of the institute’s students.
To promote a sense of camaraderie, various traditional games and competitions were organized. These included pot-breaking contests, rangoli competitions, and other cultural activities, providing an opportunity for students to engage in friendly competition while celebrating the cultural significance of Pongal.
