Lamp lighting ceremony at KMCH College of Nursing

Being a nurse is an endless loving act of heart. The lamp lighting ceremony is an auspicious occasion in every nurse’s life, as a tribute to the Floemphasizedtingale, the lady with the lamp. The lamp lighting ceremony of the 31st batch of KMCH School of Nursing was held on 10.01.2024. A total of 158 students participated, took the nurse oath, and formerly entered into the dignified profession of Nursing.  Dr B V Kathyayani, Principal College of Nursing NIMHANS, was the chief guest and she spoke on the scope of Nursing & illustrated its values. Prof Dr S. Madhavi, Principal, KMCH CoN gave an account of the significance of the lamp lighting ceremony which emphasized the need for devotion and dedication to the profession.

Dr Thavamani D Palanisami, Managing Trustee Dr NGP Research & Educational Trust presided over the function. She highlighted the significance of Nursing in the current scenario & emphasized the need for determination, dedication & compassion to excel in the profession.
