First Year Orientation Program at Sri Krishna Engineering Colleges 

Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET), Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore and Sri Krishna College of Technology (SKCT), Kovaipudur organized the orientation programme for the newly joined first-year engineering college students through online mode on Nov 10.

 S.Malarvizhi, Chairperson & Managing Trustee, Sri Krishna Institutions welcomed the gathering and delivered her motivational talk.

 S.Subramanian, Country Lead – University Program (Campus Recruitment, Relations & Strategy, Careers & Talent Branding, Diversity & Inclusion Planning), Silicon Labs, Hyderabad, was the Chief Guest.

 He said It is natural law, we know that if we labour hard, we shall reap the right reward. Young budding engineers should have research skills. Develop creative thoughts for innovation. He enlightened the students and the parents about the scope of engineering courses and its job opportunities. He advised the students to develop self-discipline and communication skills to achieve success. Believe in yourself, have faith in your abilities. Confidence is the success mantra he finally said.

 Also Subashini Iyer, Alumna, SKCT and Senior Manager, CTS-100 Spacecraft Engineering Integrator, Boeing, Merritt Island Florida, US addressed as Guest of Honour. She is the backbone of NASA’s Artemis Mission.

She said that success is that one thing that each and every person wants to achieve. But achieving success is not so easy and especially for those who are not motivated enough. The best way to motivate our freshers and encourage them from the first day would be from their seniors who have touched the peaks of success.

Meanwhile Principal of SKCET Dr.J.Janet and Principal of SKCT Dr.Srinivasan Alavandar briefed about the insights of academic process.  Dr.V.Ragavi, HOD, Science & Humanities, SKCET  proposed a vote of thanks. Newly joined students along with their parents attended the orientation programme.
