Tata Technologies opened its first innovation center in Coimbatore, aiming to develop software solutions for global automotive companies. The center will offer opportunities for local talent to work on global projects, enhance skills in vehicle software, and contribute to innovations in the automotive value chain.
Warren Harris, CEO of Tata Technologies, expressed excitement about establishing a presence in Coimbatore, highlighting the region’s thriving engineering landscape. He also added, “This strategic initiative will ensure a continuous exchange of talent, ideas, and solutions, propelling the industry forward into a future defined by innovation and efficiency.”
The center will focus on various vehicle software projects, including embedded software, ADAS, connected vehicles, functional safety, cybersecurity, and AUTOSAR, with plans to employ 100 local professionals initially.
