KMCH College of Nursing recently hosted a two-day skill training workshop on body mechanics and transfer techniques from December 8 to December 9, 2023.
The workshop, inaugurated by Madhavi, Principal of KMCH College of Nursing, and Karthick Babu, Principal of KMCH College of Physiotherapy, aimed to enhance students’ proficiency in body mechanics, normal body alignment, assisting patients with ambulation, and safe patient transfer.
A total of 158 students from the first semester of BSc Nursing and DGNM first year actively participated in the program.
Renowned speakers from KMCH College of Physiotherapy, including Prof. Prakash, Prof. Selveswaran, Prof. Karthikeyan Thangavel, and Prof. Tamilarasan Anthoni, served as resource persons. The workshop focused on empowering students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through insightful demonstrations and return demonstrations.
