The Bharathiar University Inter-collegiate weightlifting competition took place at Hindustan College of Arts and Science, featuring both men’s and women’s categories. With over 200 students from 70+ colleges, the event saw I.C. F Satish Kumar, Commonwealth Gold Medalist, as the special guest.
Notable attendees included SD Rajeswaran, Director (in charge) of the Department of Physical Education at Bharathiar University, DRK Saraswathi, Trustee of Hindustan Institute of Education, K. Priya, Secretary of Hindustan Arts and Sciences College, A. Ponnusamy, Principal of the college, S. Karunanidhi, Director of Physical Education, and U Jeeva, Assistant Director of Physical Education, along with physical education directors from various colleges.
