Dengue Awareness Campaign conducted at TWGIS

Government Primary Health Centre in association with Health and Hygiene Club of The Western Ghats International School (TWGIS) conducted a Dengue Awareness Campaign at the school premises.

Dr. Sashi Kumaar Samraj, Chairman, TWGIS presided over the medical camp. Dr. Alagu Rajalakshmi, Government Medical Officer acted as the resource person. Melodiga Vijayan, Club President, welcomed the gathering.

The resource person explained the causes of Dengue and Swine Flu. She also highlighted the symptoms and preventive measures to the students. Students took a pledge to lead a healthy and hygiene lifestyle.Dr. Alagu Rajalakshmi distributed prizes to the students, who participated in the competition related to Dengue and Swine Flu. Finally, Neem medicine was distributed to all the students.

Samyuktha, Club Secretary proposed the Vote of Thanks. Officials from the Government Health and Sanitary Department also took part in this camp.
