GKNMH Celebrates 71st Founders Day with Emphasis on Healthcare Excellence

G Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital (GKNM) commemorated its 71st Founders Day on Saturday with a grand celebration attended by esteemed guests and healthcare professionals. The event, held at the hospital premises, highlighted the institution’s commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services while emphasizing the importance of ethics and continuous learning.

The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy, the Chief Executive Officer of GKNM Hospital, who expressed his gratitude to all attendees and highlighted the hospital’s achievements and growth over the years.

The presidential address was given by Pathy, President of KNC Trust, where he emphasized the noble service rendered by doctors and healthcare workers. He commended their dedication to working with the “life and soul” of people, contrasting it with working with inanimate objects. Pathy stressed the need for continuous learning and the importance of demonstrating high ethical standards and relentless, intelligent efforts in the medical field. He also emphasized the significance of mental health and the integration of personal goals with larger institutional goals.

Suresh, President and Head for ZF Region India, served as the Chief Guest at the event. He presented the Distinguished Service Awards and Performance Excellence Awards, acknowledging the outstanding contributions of healthcare professionals who excelled in their respective fields.

Gopinath, Vice President of KNC Trust, presented the Meritorious Service Awards, recognizing individuals who demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment in their roles at the hospital.
