CMIS begins with Students’ Achievement

CMIS, Chandramari International School is being inaugurated by distinguished stalwarts from diverse background, tomorrow.

The school’s expansive campus, which is situated across 3.5 acres of picturesque nature, amply demonstrates the importance it places on students’ various learning styles and emotional intelligence. The chairman and trustees were inspired by the grandeur of Dubai’s architecture, which is replicated in the top-notch infrastructure. In order to help students realise their career goals, CMIS has built an environment that promotes them to become researchers with entrepreneurial skill sets.

The innovation laboratory and CMIS workshops provide students with opportunities to explore and experiment with cutting-edge technology and tools, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity.

10 young researchers among the newly admitted students of this school achieved an incredible milestone by identifying Five Preliminary Asteroids named P21DvLP, P21DFsd, P21DFtn, P21DFsc and P21DGVI as an initiative of NASA Citizen Scientist Program.

These discoveries have caught the attention of NASA, who will study them in detail to determine their orbit, size, speed, and other characteristics, following which they will be given an official name.

CMites used advanced software analysis and spent nearly four to six hours each day scouring the skies for asteroids. The entire process took approximately one month, during which the students utilized their knowledge and skills to identify these asteroids. Their efforts have been recognized and applauded by the International Asteroid Search Program.
