Department of Animal Science along with Indian Association of Applied Microbiologists (SAAM) organized the 18th International Conference on “Converging Microbiological Innovation for application in Animal, Plant, Environment and health care (ICCMIA-2023) in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli Held on 27th and 28th Jan 2023. About 500 delegates participated from various International and national universities of which 300 researchers presented their research work.
From the Department of Microbiology, PhD Scholar, R.K. Deepalaxmi was awarded Robert Koch Best Poster Presentation Award and S. Anitha was presented with the Louis Pasteur Best Oral presentation award. R.K. Deepalaxmi was given the Anand Rao Memorial Award along with a medal for the best paper presented from the Indian Association Of Applied Microbiologists.
