PM puts education first on his BRICS address

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the delegates of BRICS summit in Johannesburg, South Africa on Thursday (26.07.2018). Though many objectives are set to be discussed in the summit that will continue tomorrow, the PM began his address with a special emphasis on the need for the world to change its mindset on education. “We will have to design the syllabus of our schools and universities in a way that it prepares the youth for the future. We have to ensure that the pace of change in technology finds space in our syllabus.” said the PM. He wanted the youth of our nation and the world to achieve excellence in skills and equip oneself with vocational training. He also expressed solidarity with the fellow members of BRICS in their vision to preserve multilateralism and strive together for global peace and harmony.
