A one-day workshop for school teachers was organized at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University as part of the on going 17th Tamil Internet Conference. The workshop had been mooted by Udhayachandran, Secretary, Department of School Education. It was attended by 100 undergraduate students of Agricultural Information Technology course.
A total number of 200 school teachers were to be trained on Mobile App Development, Virtual Reality and Internet of Things in the programme, in two phases.
The programme was conducted under the direct supervision of Dr. K. Ramasamy, Vice-chancellor, TNAU, Dr. U. Sivakumar, Dean (SPGS) and International Forum for Infirmation Technology in Tamil (INFIIT) members.
