Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh shared on Monday that he has been tested positive with Covid-19.
“I have tested positive for Corona today with mild symptoms. I am under home quarantine. I request everyone who has recently come in my contact to isolate themselves and get tested.”
The third wave of Covid-19 has been causing higher number of infections in the country recently, with 1.79 lakh people testing positive on a single day on Sunday. This is the first time in the last 227 days that the country witnessed such a count.
