Integrated Sports Complex announced

Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational & Research Institute (RKMVERI) and Rotary Club of Coimbatore Metropolis Trust have partnered to establish an Integrated Sports Complex at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Perianaickenpalayam.

At a cost of around Rs. 1.5 crore, the complex shall be constructed in an area of 8.50 acres with international standards for around 20 sports. This will serve as a facility for training various categories of differently abled students on selective athletic and sports disciplines from throughout India.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the project was held on Aug.3. Swami Bhavarupanandaji Maharaj, President, Ramakrishna Math, Yelagiri and Rtn. Rajasekar, District Governor, R.I. Dist 3201 were the Chief Guests.

Swami Garishthanandaji Maharaj, Rtn. K. Palaniappan, President, Rtn.Bhaskar, Secretary, RCC Metropolis, R. Giridharan. Head, RKMVERI – Faculty of GAPEY, Swami Nirmaleshanadaji Maharaj, Assistant Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya were present during the occasion.
