KPR College of Arts Science and Research, Coimbatore, School of Liberal Arts, Department of English and Fantasy Literary Club jointly organized a Guest Lecture on Functional English for Emerging Minds virtually, on Monday.
Kalaivani, Head (i/c) & Assistant Professor, Department of English, Government Arts and Science College, Modakkurichi, Erode was the Resource Person.
She highlighted the skills that are needed to deliver a nice presentation. She introduced the students about the skills that are necessary during Interviews. She also detailed on types of interview, preparation for an interview, body language and question-management in interviews and tips for effective communication during the interview.
Presenting a neat Résumé is considered crucial for jobseekers. She touched upon that area as well, and illuminated the students how to prepare and present a good one. She answered the questions raised by the participants in an effective manner.
Earlier, Principal of the college S.Balusamy offered felicitation. The webinar was convened by Prof.K.Vijayakumar, and it was organized by N. Ravikumar, Assistant Professor of English. More than 300 students attended the lecture.
