Former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh has been discharged today from AIIMS Delhi after recovering from Covid-19, ANI reported.
Dr.Singh was admitted on April 19 to AIIMS Delhi with mild fever after he tested positive with Covid-19. The 88 year old statesman had taken the 2 shots of vaccine on March 4 and April 3, 2021.
Though not in power, Dr.Singh advised his successor PM Narendra Modi when the second wave of covid-19 was getting high in the country. He wrote much about vaccines, its distribution, fund allocation for vaccine production among other strategies.
