Veteran journalist Krishna Prasad has been appointed by The Hindu Group Publishing Pvt.Ltd as its Group Editorial Officer (GEO) effective April 16, 2021. The Group publishes The Hindu, The Hindu BusinessLine, Frontline and Sportstar.
The Hindu reported that Krishna Prasad’s career in journalism spans 35 years. He is the former Editor-in-Chief of Outlook Magazine, taught journalism in three continents and he has also been a member of the Press Council of India.
Malini Parthasarthy, Chairperson of The Hindu Group Publishing Pvt.Ltd said “Krishna Prasad as Group Editorial Officer will play a guiding role on content management and strategy across all the publications, working with the editors of various publications, digital editors, and the business and technical teams to drive The Hindu Group’s digital transformation.”
