The election for the State Assembly got over in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday with more than 73% polling recorded this time. As far as Coimbatore is concerned 68.32% polling was recorded according to sources.
There are 10 assembly constituencies in Coimbatore and the ballot boxes from these constituencies are being taken to the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore (GCT) since Wednesday morning. The entire counting center has been brought under the control of the police, sources reported.
