Coimbatore based Hindu-religious, non-profit, human service organization – Dakshina Foundation celebrated Maha Shivaratri recently.
The celebrations were held in the presence of Mitreshiva, Head of the Foundation and Yagarishi Varaha. This celebration was held as a physical and virtual event. “Ten thousands of people from all over the world attended, both directly, through virtual links and through websites”, a press release from the foundation claimed.
Several activities – satsangs throughout the night, powerful meditations, musicals and dance performances by renowned artists and a variety of spiritual art performances – were a part of this celebration. The press release further underlined that at exactly midnight, a powerful midnight meditation was conducted under the guidance of Mitreshiva.
