International Mathematics Conference at KASC

The PG and Research Department of Mathematics, Kongunadu Arts and Science College (KASC) is organizing the 4th edition of International Conference on Current Scenario in Pure and Applied Mathematics on Friday and Saturday (Jan 28th and 29th) .

Prof. Ismail Naci Cangul, Professor, Bursa Uludag University, Turkey delivered the Key note Address. He listed out the various applications of Mathematics and emphasized the role of Mathematicians in bridging the gap between the theory and application such that the local issues can be resolved then and there.

He later released the souvenir of the Conference containing 115 abstracts of the research articles submitted by the participants from several countries.

Followed by the Inaugural Session, Prof. Dafik, Professor, Dean of FKIP, the University of Jember, Indonesia delivered a lecture on the topic ‘On the resolving strong domination number of graphs: a new notion’ in the Technical Session 1.

In the Technical Session 2, Prof. Ayman Rateb Badawi from American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates delivered a lecture on the topic ‘On 1-absorbing (weakly) primary ideals of commutative rings’.

In the 3rd Technical Session, Raul M. Falcon from University of Seville, Spain delivered a lecture on the topic ‘New advances concerning critical sets based on Latin square autotopisms’. Prof. K. S. Nisar, from College of Arts And Sciences, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia delivered a lecture on the topic ‘Fractional order Mathematical model of novel corona virus disease (COVID-19)’ in the Technical session 4.

More than 200 Participants from various parts of India and abroad are attending the conference.
