The Bharatanatya Arangetram of S.S.Shruthi, a classical dancer took place on Wednesday at Sardar Vallabhai Patel Auditorium.
Amudha Dhandapani, Director, Barathalayam Institute of Fine Arts was the Chief Guest. Rtn. A.V.Pathy, Past District Governor, Rotary International District 3201 was the Guest of Honor.
Shruthi has been learning Bharatanatyam since she was six years old. She is a disciple of Mrudula Rai . The young dancer is a recipient of Yuvashree Kala Bharathi from Bharatha Yuva Kendra for excellence in dance.
She delivered 8 performances – Pushpanjali, Ragavendra Krithi, Jathiswaram, Shri Ram Stuti, Varnam, Kavadi Chinthu, Padam and Thillana.
