SRIT Business School organized a Seminar on BUDGET 2020…Aspirations, Expectations, Reactions & Consequences recently. Senior Chartered Accountant C.A.Venkatesan was the Chief Guest. The students of MBA presented on the aspirations, expectations from the Industry and the highlights of the budget.
CA.Venkatesan analysed the key features and the consequences of the budget. In his presentation, he welcomed the abolishment of Dividend Distribution Tax. He said that the tax concession to investments by sovereign wealth funds on infrastructure is a positive step.Dean Dr.R.Rajendran in his speech encouraged the students to study in detail the annual economic survey which will help them understand the objectives and goals set up by the Government.
