Student-Entrepreneurs showcase promising products

Akriti Gupta, student Entrepreneur from EO Pune Chapter who is the founder of Canfem- a company that manufacturers products for breast cancer survivors won the national finals and will also compete in the global finals at Cape Town, South Africa in May 2020.

Aakashdeep Bansal, Co- Founder – I-Stem and Vineeth Jain, Co- Founder – Voila Digi were the 1st and 2nd Runners Up respectively. 25 student-entrepreneurs from different part of India competed for the Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s national finals of Global Student Entrepreneur Awards between Feb 7th and 8th. They pitched their various business models during the National finals.

The event was attended by more than 200 students budding entrepreneurs from various colleges across the city. Finals winners had opportunity to pitch with their model business plan with various business stakeholders on the stage.The objective is to create a bridge, a platform for the students to work in cross functional teams with a board objective of enhancing their leadership skills and giving back to the nation. 8 speakers from different business background had sessions with the student entrepreneurs on various topics viz scaling up, building the brand, fundraising for the start-ups, Business success stories and more.
