The Coimbatore District Hoteliers Association is organizing the 5th edition of the grand street style food-fest ‘Taste of Coimbatore’ from 10.1.2020 to 12.1 2020 near CODISSIA Road. The title sponsor this year is Milky Mist.
Around 140 stalls will be in the food fest this year, out of which 60 are food stalls and the rest includes games stall and sponsors’ stall. The organizers said that the entry ticket is Rs.120 per person. Free entry is made free for children under 12 years. The price of food items have been made affordable and enjoyable in a limiter portion so that the visitors could experience all the food stalls and taste all the items.
Along with delicious food, to cater to the appetite for delightful music will be taken care by 3 renowned artists – Stephen Devassy (on 10.01.2020), Anuradha Sriram (on 11.01.2020) and Diwakar (on 12.01.2020) will perform with their bands in the food fest to entertain the visitors.
Access to clean drinking water, refreshment facilities and safety measures will be made available for the ease of customers. From Starters to Desserts and Chaat, everything will be ready for people to taste.
Parking facilities for 3000 cars and for 5000 bikes is made available. The event will start from 6 p.m. and will last till 11 p.m. Several Tamil Cultural activities like Mayilaatam, Silambaatam, Paraiyattam, poikaal kudhirai, karagaattam will take place to show the visitors and the kids belonging to 2k generation the real authentic festive spirit of Coimbatore. Celebrity Chef Damu will be joining the fest to demonstrate ways to prepare delicious food using Milky Mist Products.
