PSG Tech’s conference to be catalyst for inventions in Bio-Medical Engineering

Health care in India is improving a lot. The readiness to accept whatever wearable devices are being developed in healthcare sector is rising. The Common man, in the near future, will be much benefitted by these wearable devices that are in development. He will be able to send his health-data from his home to his personal physician, thanks to technology which is fostering this change.

The need to visit a clinic for small heath check-ups would be less in the future, and the doctor will be able to give solutions to his patient’s heath needs from where he is at.  A use and throw Spirometer is one such wearable devices that is plans to be developed by the Department of Biomedical Engineering at  PSG Tech and by developing more indigenous devices, the accessibility to advanced healthcare could be enjoyed by greater number of people in the imminent future.

To improve the innovations in the healthcare area, this is organizing a three-day International Conference on Engineering in Medicine and Life Sciences -2019.
