-Knowledge disseminated at 13th Dr.B.Krishnaraj Memorial Oration
The 13th Dr.B.Krishnaraj Memorial Oration was held on 08-12-2019 at the auditorium, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore. Prof.Dr. Rajan Santosham, Chairman of Santosham Chest Hospital, Senior Consultant Thoracic Surgeon of Apollo Hospitals and Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai spoke on Airway Surgery.
He enlightened the gathering about the basics and key points in airway surgery. His speech inspired young surgeons in Airway Surgery and he made the students to understand a difficult surgery in a clear and simple manner.His speech briefly highlighted about Air Pollution-causes, effects on health and how to prevent it. R. Sundar, Joint Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, in his Presidential Address highlighted the stately qualities and pleasant memories of Dr.B. Krishnaraj.
Dr.V.Sarveswaran, Head, Department of General Surgery, announced the Dr. B. Krishnaraj awardees. Mrs.Parvathi Krishnaraj, Chairperson of Dr.B. Krishnaraj Memorial Foundation gave the awards and cash prizes to Dr.Jothi Prasad, Dr.JesilaPriyaand Dr.Noufal T.B.
