Laughathon gifts Covai a hearty laughter

The Coimbatore Humour Society Trust organized the 13th Edition of Laughathon at Hotel Le Meridien on 17.11.2019

The humour loving public of Coimbatore filled the spacious banquet hall of the hotel to have an amazing evening.

A hearty welcome and an hilarious opening to the show was made by Dr. G. Lakshmipathi, Chairman of Coimbatore Humour Society Trust who set the tune for the assemblage of amusing artists to follow.

He conveyed that he had recently inaugurated the sister club to Coimbatore Humour Society-Humour Society of Greensboro in North Carolina.

He introduced to the crowd Cringe Humour which is Humour of Embarrassment. He then narrated several incidents where embarrassments appears humourous when thought in leisure. He opened up the fastlane to laughter and kicked off the occasion.

For the next performer Rupen Paul, Diwali must have been never ending one as he cracked jokes like it’s crackers bursting time and the whole hall welcomed his performance.

Nitinn Miranni, an international talent who has come all the way from Dubai added spice to the event with his non-veg content at some occasions which the crowd went for and enjoyed.

Nitinn’s panache and wit was visible with his quick responses to the crowd, which he made to interact with him for his every word. It was the highlight of the first half.

Tamil Nadu’s own Manoj Prabhakar kept his jokes coming with a flow and everyone alike seemed to forget the time and enjoyed the moments.

The show’s only female comedian Neeti Palta from New Delhi made the crowd laugh out loud with her impeccably timed jokes and brought the show to a fantastic and fun-filled ending.

The Convener of this event Rtn. K. K. Chugh and his team took care of the smooth running of this 13th Edition of Laughathon. For his immense contributions in this event’s success he was honored during the occasion.
