SNMV instills awareness about entrepreneurship to students

The SNMV Institute of Management, Coimbatore organized a ‘3-Day Entrepreneurial Awareness Camp’ between 09.10.2019 and 11.10.2019 under the NIMAT project scheme funded by Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi routed through EDII, Ahmedabad.

Saravanakumar, MD of Dharashan Books Emporium, Coimbatore inaugurated the camp and facilitated the session on day 1.

On Day 2 of the camp, Sathis Sayeenath, Project Head, Be Mee Trust, Dindigul addressed the students on the themes ‘How to Start an SSI unit and other Funding agencies’ and on ‘Government Schemes available for New and Young Entrepreneurs.  During the afternoon session, R. Krishnnan, Head, Amrita Centre for Entrepreneurship, facilitated the session on the theme ‘Communication skill for better results in Business’.

On the final day of the camp, Sakthivel, Manger-HRD of Indo Shell Cast Private Limited, Coimbatore facilitated a session on the theme ‘Practicing Entrepreneur’s Success Stories’.

Not limiting to the above, the participants were taken for Industrial Visit to Indo Shell Casting Unit in Coimbatore and Small Industries Development Corporation [SIDCO] as well. 76 final year students pursuing science programs were benefited out of this awareness camp.
