Monsoon rain has been low in Tamil Nadu and only recently did it rain a little in Chennai and other regions of Tamil Nadu while other states such as Assam, Bihar and Kerala are witnessing heavy rain and flood, Tamil Nadu is yet to get a normal rainfall.
The Regional Meteorological Centre has announced that on 17.07.2019 there will be Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. But on18.7.2019 isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar and Theni districts of Tamil Nadu.
On 19.7.2019 to 20.7.2019, Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Virudhunagar, Theni and Dindigul districts of Tamil Nadu.
Saving the rain (if it occurs) would greatly help the people of Tamil Nadu as many districts are badly affected by drought.
