Dental Camp to benefit 125 students and staff
Rotary Club of Kovaipudur in association with Naren Dental Care and Peace Human Trust, jointly organized a free Dental Screening camp for the students of Government Middle School, B.K.Pudur.
The Dental camp, which comes under the Rotary District Priority programs, was declared open by the Bhinu, President, Rotary Club of Kovaipudur. A.P. Sriraam, Secretary of the club while reporting, highlighted the fact that the camp comes under the ‘Win a Smile’, “Mission 2020 – Responsible India” theme of Madhav Chandran, Governor, Rotary District 3201.
N.Karthika, The Community Chairperson, said that around 125 students and staff of the school will be benefited by the camp. R Lokanatha Guptha, Chairperson,Youth Service while welcoming the gathering, highlighted the importance of Dental hygiene and upkeep.
Dr.N.Poornima,B.D.S of Naren Dental Care did the screening and V. Shanmugakumar of Peace and Human Trust coordinated the evenT. S. Ajitha Bhanu, Head mistress thanked the organizers on behalf of the school. Past Presidents and many members of Rotary Club of Kovaipudur eagerly took part in organizing the camp.
