The Valedictory Function of Commerce Stream of Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science (KKCAS) was held recently in the college premises.
- A. Chinnaraju, Secretary, presided over the function. N. Mala, Principal, welcomed the gathering and presented the Annual report for the year 2018-19. V.Vijayalakshmi, Dean, Department of Commerce introduced the Chief Guest A. Sharmila Banu, North Regional Manager, Hycon Machines, CODEA Park, Coimbatore.
In her address she expressed that the success of youth is when they have empathy towards the needy. It is highly appreciable that the present world’s youth come forward to help others in any hard situation. She highlighted the presence of teachers and parents in person’s life. A society can develop only when everyone work for its progress. Confidence is the secret for success.
Positive thinking would make any one successful. She advised the students by citing many real examples. She emphasized the struggle and sacrifice of men in the family. She concluded her speech advising the students to take care of their parents and be confident and successful.
The prizes were distributed and it was followed by cultural programs. V.Vijayalakshmi, Dean of Commerce proposed the vote of thanks.
