PSG & Sons’ Charities celebrated its Staff Day in memory of Prof. G.R.Damodaran. The staff day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prof. G.R. Damodaran. The event started with a prayer song followed by a welcome address by P.R.Rajkumar, Medical director, PSG Hospital. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Dasharath Ram, Director, Defense Research & Development Laboratory, Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India, Hyderabad. The event was presided over by L.Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons’ Charities.
The Chief Guest in his address said, “He congratulated all the award winners and said that apart from infrastructure, PSG conducts a lot of extra-curricular activities. It’s is an honor for me to be associated with Staff Day of PSG Institutions”. He also said when his son took admission at PSG; he was rest assured that his (son’s) future will be bright.
The event saw awards being given under various categories like Sports, Culturals, Retirement and those who have completed 25 years of service. The event ended with a Vote of thanks and was followed by cultural programs.
