Many smart-phones are yet to receive the Android 9 – Pie update and as of now only a select few flagship models have received the update. So expecting Android Q to be available for all new models would be searching for fool’s gold.

XDA Developers – a renowned global mobile software developers community has got their hands on the yet to debut Android Q and have confirmed that the new android will have many interesting features that will include several security & privacy updates, visual changes and much more.

Everyone is not much excited about features as it is fact Android is always a game changer but what people are curious about is the name. Since it is the alphabet ‘Q’, it will surely be a very hard challenge for Android to name its next update in the most appealing way to the customers.

Ever since the launch of Android OS, except for Alpha and Beta stages, the other versions have been alphabetically and appealingly named: Cupcake, Donut, Eclairs, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice-Cream Sandwich,  Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat, Oreo and Pie. All of which are mostly known names but what is Google gonna do with Q? We’ll have to wait.
