Bharathiar University saw the launch of “Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Career Hub under Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA)-Phase II”. The program was launched digitally by PM Narendra Modi. Bharathiar University is only one among the 66 universities to be provided with this hub facility across India by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Dept. of Higher Education, Govt.of India for achieving accessibility, equity, quality and excellence in higher education platform.
The Digital launch saw participation of 26 States, 1 Union Territory and 51 inspiratorial districts. The event saw the foundation stone being laid digitally for 70 Model Degree colleges, 11 Professional Colleges, 1 Women’s University, 66 Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Career Hub which also includes Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Dignitaries present at the event were P.Thirunavukkarasu, Member of Vice-Chancellor’s Committee, G.Singaravelu, Member of Syndicate, B.Vanitha, Registrar i/c, R.Saravanaselvan, Co-ordinator, RUSA Phase 2.0, Rupa Gunaseelan, Nodal Officer, J.Satheesh Kumar, Dy.Nodal Officer, along with other committee members of RUSA Phase 2.0, Heads & Professors of various Departments.
